1. Passoffs Remember the deadline to passoff music & routines for Some Nightsand Party Rock Anthem is tomorrow (Thursday)! About 10-15 people have already passed-off. 7-12th graders must have their music memorized; 6th graders can use music. The deadline to passoff We Are Young is next Thursday, Sept. 19th. 2. Charges If you received an email from me about any charges that you have, please pay those as soon as possible. 3. Magazines Remember the deadline to turn in magazine orders is Sept. 26th. Friday Parents, please do not bring food or drink to your child during the first or second quarters of the game. We will pass out water for them. If they are getting hungry before 3rd quarter break, they need to eat something before the game. Students must be in position to play at 6:00 left in the 3rd quarter this week. We will wear these next week at South Choctaw. Make sure yours is hanging correctly and not wadded up in the trunk of your car or fallen into the bottom of a garment bag. I believe everyone has shoes now - if not, let me know immediately! There are 2 pairs of shoes and 1 uniform hanging in the band room that have been here since picture day.... 7. UA Crimson Cavalcade of Bands This exhibition will be held at Tuscaloosa County HS on the night of Tues., Sept. 24th. This is a required performance. It will start at 5:30 (we will have to be there to warm up before then). There is no cost for admission, so parents and family members, please come! Several of the bands in our area will perform and the Million Dollar Band will end the night. I do not have a detailed itinerary yet, but I will get that to you as soon as they send it to me.
